Jennifer Croll
May/June 2006
It would be nearly impossible to find anyone more enthusiastic about life than Jennifer Croll. The strikingly All-American blond, a former resident of San Francisco Bay area, has it all going for her: vibrant health, sunny good looks, a great husband and business partner, two children she adores, and a business acumen Trump would admire.
To top all that, her mother and role-model taught her at an early age how rewarding it can be to give back as much or more than you receive to the community in which you live. Croll is a co-founder of Las Palomas, a gathering of women who lunch together each month benefiting various women's and children's charities.
Croll and her husband, Cristian, locally own and operate Jennifer Croll, Croll Sport, Croll Blue, Steal Blue (a great finds store on 5th Avenue in downtown Scottsdale), as well as two additional Jennifer Croll women's clothing and accessories stories in trendy Los Gatos and the Crystal Cove Promenade along the Newport coast in California.
Her love for boutique shops and her irrepressible entrepreneurial spirit led Croll to Valley hospitality magnate, Fred Unger, when word that his exciting new South Bridge mixed-use development adjacent to the Waterfront was finally hitting the drawing board. Croll now has the enviable task of overseeing the selection of unique one-of-a-kind boutique operators to fill the meandering open shopping maze coming to South Bridge where one can wander from one shop into another in an enticing atmosphere filled with chef-owned restaurants, live music, luxury urban residences and shopping, shopping, shopping. "You have to love what you do and do it with great passion", is yhe life mantra Croll embraces with unabashed gusto.
